Terms of sale
1. Research use only
All products are sold strictly for laboratory research use and are not for human or veterinary use of any kind. Purchase is conditioned on acceptance of the Research Use Only policy, which is incorporated into these terms.
2. Accounts and eligibility
Ordering requires an approved account registered on behalf of a laboratory, academic institution, or research organization. Meridian Research Supply may decline, suspend, or close any account at its discretion, including where use appears inconsistent with these terms.
3. Payment
Orders are invoiced after placement; payment is due by ACH or wire per the invoice terms. Orders ship after payment is received. Unpaid orders are cancelled and their reserved stock released after seven days.
4. Shipping and risk of loss
Products ship in temperature-appropriate packaging. Risk of loss passes on delivery to the carrier. Report damaged or missing shipments within 5 business days of delivery.
5. Returns
Because product integrity cannot be verified once a shipment leaves our custody, products are not returnable. Defective or non-conforming lots — those failing their certificate of analysis — are replaced or credited.
6. Warranty and liability
Products are warranted to conform to their stated specifications at the time of shipment, as documented in the lot's certificate of analysis. All other warranties are disclaimed. Liability is limited to the purchase price of the product concerned.
